I just had to take this screen-shot this morning on my phone. I use WeatherBug, recommended to me by a “genius” at the Apple Store.
As I heard when I lived for awhile in the Midwest, nobody ever shoveled 2 feet of “partly cloudy” off their doorstep. Or 2 feet of rain, either. Our rain is steady, but normally light.
