Today, there is a story about the President of France wanting to “enshrine Abortion in the country’s Constitution.”  Last year, the United States of America overturned a Supreme Court ruling that had made abortion legal everywhere, however, the US never went as far as adding Abortion to the US Constitution.  That would have been a bridge too far for most Americans.

But it is definitely not a bridge too far for Emmanuel Macron, the President of France.  This is what he said:

I want the force of this message to help us change our constitution to enshrine the freedom of women to have recourse to the voluntary interruption of pregnancy,” Macron told the crowd.

Macron made the pitch to the council in recognition of the 65th anniversary of the French Constitution.

When one of the oldest political divisions in Western Civilization decides it wants to enshrine the murder of its children in its admittedly very new Constitution, it values Death over Life.  To me, this says that it honors Destruction in the womb of its next generation of citizens.  When a Civilization enshrines Death in its Constitution, it says to the world that it no longer wishes to perpetuate itself.  The near-glorification of homosexuality and “transgenderism”, both nihilistic viewpoints, further indicate the decline of civilization.

In recent years, Western Europe has exhibited a host of symptoms of decline and decay.  More and more people everywhere are abandoning religion, especially Christianity.  Countries have invited “refugees” from Africa, who are overwhelmingly Muslim, into their countries, and those refugees are changing Europe.  Political Islam is, on its face, incompatible with Western Civilization.  The birthrate of all Western countries has been declining for decades, as prosperity leads women into the workforce and away from their homes.  The Muslim immigrants, both legal and illegal, have much higher birthrates and lower incidence of women employed outside the home, so their children, who are not assimilating into the wider Western culture, are poised to dominate in the future.

With this emphasis on Abortion, Western Civilization is sealing its fate, and allowing itself to be taken over by barbarians.
