The world, and our Country, are very uncertain, and, frankly, scary right now.  With wars breaking out and continuing, Jews threatened around the world, and Conservatives targeted by Leftist governments, you can sometimes lose sight of what makes the United States of America Great.  Ours is still the beacon of Liberty in the world.  Just look at the millions of people literally breaking into America on its Southern border.  Some may be terrorists who wish us ill, or drug traffickers wanting to make millions of dollars, but the rest are people who have heard of America as the Land of Opportunity and want some.

Our mostly-free market Capitalist economic system has created more prosperity than has ever been known in the long history of Humanity on Earth.  The poor in America are far better-off than the rich in some countries.  The fact that they sometimes fail to appreciate this, is an effect of our prosperity.

So when you sit down at your groaning Thanksgiving table tomorrow with family and friends, give a thought to how very fortunate you are, having been born in the Greatest Country on God’s Green Earth.
