This last Photo Challenge of 2023 is supposed to be your best photos of the year. I think I was exceptionally fortunate to be on the roof of the Bellevue Square parking garage on a clear day at the end of December.

The Mountain (Mount Rainier) was out in all its splendor.

I’m proud of this shot of a Junco on our little concrete pagoda in the back yard. This year in October we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary, and this was a wedding present.
I think these are my two best photos of Silver Lake, not far from our home. One in the early morning, and one at sunset.

This shot of US Highway 2 on the way to Leavenworth shows how beautiful our Pacific Northwest is.
We really didn’t do much traveling this year, but we went to Vancouver BC at the end of August. I was taken with these pretty purple plants in a border near the athletic club where Hubby played in his squash tournament.

It has been a busy year for me, working full-time again, and I have been happy to get a day or two free to go hunting good photos. My penchant for keeping my eyes open has also allowed me to capture some fortuitous shots.
I wish all my readers and followers a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Here’s the Link to this week’s Original Post. And Patti’s too!

The Silver Lake photos are stunning. I like the very different moods between shots. Great post 🙂
