Twitter Post of the Day: “Cynical Publius’s”, Day Two of Presidency

Over on Twitter, I follow a person whose screen name is Cynical Publius. He is doing a series of posts about what he would do if elected President. Day Number Two activities are just about what I said that Donald Trump should do the minute he takes office again in January of 2025. His is way better than mine was, so I urge all of my readers to read this. Donald Trump, please take note!

Reading the Deep State the Riot Act (literally)

For those of you who are not inclined to read Twitter, here is the speech in its entirety. This is genius!

So one Day #2 of the Cynical Publius Presidency, a recorded speech by me would be mandatorily played in every executive branch federal office in the nation. The speech would be replayed on subsequent days until every federal employee saw it, and every federal employee would be required to sign a sworn affidavit acknowledging that they viewed the speech and would abide by it. Anyone who refused to sign said affidavit would be instantly terminated from federal employment. The speech would be of me at my desk in the Oval Office, and it would go like this: “Good morning. This is your President speaking. I am here to speak to the federal employees who serve in executive branch agencies over which I have authority under the Constitution. I want it understood that I am an elected official and you are not. The American people elected me—and NOT YOU—to decide what policies should be enacted by this government. I ran on those policies, the people elected me to fulfill those policies, and that is exactly what I am going to do. I would like to read to you Section 2383 of Title 18 of the United States Code: “Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.” Heed these words. As I proceed to enact the lawful policies that the American people elected me to enact, if you engage in any “resistance” (organized or individually) or purposely seek to undermine or delay those policies, you are engaged in rebellion against the authority of the United States, and I will personally ensure that you are prosecuted to the full extent of Section 2383, convicted, and sent to prison for ten years. If you disagree with me on my policies, you are not disagreeing with me, you are not “resisting” me, you are disagreeing with and “resisting” the American people and the Constitution. This will not be tolerated. Who do you think you are that your role as an unelected bureaucrat supersedes the will of the citizens of this great nation? You are a servant of the American people, just as I am. Act accordingly. You will support the agenda of the American people, or you will be imprisoned. Have a nice day.” The video would then end with Whitney Houston singing the National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl, and all employees would be instructed to stand at attention while it played.

The speech supports fiscal responsibility by reducing the size if government after 50+% of government employees quit.
