Am I racist to point out a matter of fact?

In today’s mail, there was a brochure from the State lawmakers who represent the 44th District of my state of Washington. This district includes parts of the cities of Everett and Mill Creek, about 25 miles north of Seattle. I have no idea why I didn’t know exactly who represents our district in the state legislature, but I was mildly surprised to find out. First of all, like most of Western Washington, my district senator and representatives are all DemocRats. Western Washington is well-known as one of the most heavily DemocRatic on the West Coast. We have some of the highest costs of living in America around here, and with all the leftists in the legislature, those costs are going in only one direction, UP.

Here is a photo of the three legislators from my district.

What do you notice about them? Yes, every single one is black. And I did not vote for any of them; yes, futile, I know, but there it is. Now, for some statistics about my state. The State of Washington is about 71% white. And affluent areas tend to be higher-percentage white. So how did the 44th District elect three black legislators? In Washington, the vast majority of black citizens are still DemocRats-few would even consider voting for a Republican. So this means that the largely-white, affluent voters of the 44th District elected three people who decidedly do not look like them. White guilt? Maybe. Or just DemocRats. The other voters in my district elected representatives who continually raise our taxes, vote for a “bias-incident snitch line” to turn in your neighbors for a perceived slight, ban the sale of gas-powered cars after 2035 (supposedly to affect the earth’s climate), handcuff the police in a time of rising crime, and contribute to the skyrocketing cost of gasoline (we are #2 in the nation after California).

Personally, none of those so-called representatives represents MY interests in the legislature. For that matter, my congress-critter and both of our state Senators are DemocRats who do not represent me in DC either. Feelings? Right now, I am feeling totally abandoned by those who are supposed to represent me, but who actually represent a small minority. Go ahead, call me a racist. But facts are facts, and those legislators are making our state less livable on a daily basis.
