Or do you? The convention is in Chicago this year, and that brings back some memories for me, the Baby Boomer who remembers the 1968 convention. In that year, massive anti-Vietnam War demonstrations became riots, with destruction of property and deaths and injuries. That year’s rioters were rank amateurs, compared to what Antifa has planned for this year.
Here is a taste.
Aside from Antifa, we already know that the pro-Palestinian rioters will be out in force, reminding convention goers that the war against Israel is ongoing. What I find especially distasteful is how many DemocRats are Jewish, and support the war against our homeland. Well, we know that they are Leftist first, which explains some of it. But it’s still awful.
But this year’s convention has something new, something that has caused dismay and disgust among many on the right. This year, Planned Parenthood is bringing in a special bus to provide their “products” at no charge to convention-goers. What do you think of this?
Yes, the Leftist Death Cult is coming to Chicago, to assist the Democrats in the murder of their children in the womb, and the prevention of future children. Maybe it’s a good thing for them to remove themselves from the gene pool. But just the idea of free abortions at a political convention is abhorrent.
In Milwaukee for the Republican convention, local businesses laid out the red carpet and welcomed convention goers who spent their money and made shopkeepers happy. In Chicago, on the other hand, stores are boarding up their windows in preparation for the riots and mayhem they know are in store for them.
I wonder how DemocRats live with themselves, surrounded by death and destruction. With abortion as their Holy Sacrament, they seem to have no hope for the future. And their supporters make the present horrible too.

Unfortunately, unlike 1968, the City political leaders (using that term loosely) are on the side of the rioters. Because those so-called leaders and their heroes were the rioters in ’68. Ironic, ain’t it?
