Merry Christmas to my Readers and Followers

As I write this, it’s 1:00AM on Christmas morning. I want to wish all my followers, and occasional readers, the happiest of holidays, and peace and prosperity in the new year of 2025. We all can give thanks that the new year will bring a new President, and a New Birth of Freedom to our beleaguered country. The last four years have seen a constant barrage of bad news, death, destruction, mutilation, and war to America. We are simply tired of the continual stream of ugliness poured out onto the airwaves and internet by the Left. However, it is gratifying that President Trump won increasing percentages of even the most “resistant” demographics, young people and blacks.

Even amid all the filth, there is beauty. Our trip to Nashville in October was full of new sights to us, like the gorgeous gardens of Cheekwood.

Christmas time is a time to be glad, and hopeful, and reminded of all the love and caring there still is in our world. Government may be working against us at every turn, but still the everyday people continue to go to work, help their neighbors, and delight in their children. I am continually reminded of the courage and selflessness of the people in Western North Carolina, who are in desperate need of help months after the devastating hurricane literally swept their lives away. People in the region, and all over the country are still working with them to put their lives in order.

And I want to leave you with something to chuckle at on Christmas. Our cat is the light of our lives, even at her advanced age. Simon’s Cat has some fun, and aggravation on Christmas.
