We have Ricochet friends who just moved from LosAngeles to Anacortes, and now that they both are up here, we scheduled lunch for yesterday, and included our other friend from Seattle. I decided to extend the lunch a couple of days, since I thought we were in need of a short break from home.
Drive time from home was 50 minutes, and we arrived at just the right time. We are staying at a nice place right on the Swinomish Channel, with a tiny little terrace. We met our friends for a very nice lunch.
We sat outside.
After lunch we took a little walk through town. Hubby needed an espresso so we went to a little shop. While he got his drink, I saw this old-fashioned cash register.

But I guess we are still a few years downstream of CA. Beautiful pictures. LaConner is a fun little town to visit. I stop by their antique shop every once in a while, but it is super expensive so I never buy anything.
