Just watching out my back glass door, as numerous birds come to take advantage of our feeders, both seed and suet. The seed feeder is nearly empty, since I will be bringing it in for a thorough cleaning. Both suet feeders are full, and attracting lots of hungry birds.
Just in the last hour, there have been black-capped and chestnut-backed chickadees, dark-eyed juncos, a rufous-sided towhee, a wren, a downy woodpecker, a red-breasted nuthatch, and our northern flicker.

Flicker is perfectly fine sharing with the chickadee. The ground is teeming with birds too, mostly the juncos and towhee. Never a dull moment!
