I have always been fond of black and white photos, since they can imply age as well as simplicity. There are a number of photos in my library that look like black-and-white, even when they are in color!

This is the street where I live.

I think this rose actually looks better in black-and-white than it does in color. You really see the texture.

I just took this one this afternoon. I was going for the little arrow at the top of the mast of the sailboat.

The two coffee carafes were simplicity itself.

Mundane objects have their own beauty.

Finally, one of the orchids I got for my birthday last year. Just simply beautiful.
