Skagit Sunday

It was bright, sunny, and not too cold, so we took a drive up to the Skagit Valley. I was a picture-taking fool, starting before we even got out of Everett!

Not seen in the foreground is our sewage-treatment plant, which is actually quite picturesque! That’s the Cascades.

Stillaguamish River. I wish Hubby’s car were higher off the ground so I could get a photo without the railing in the foreground!

Highway 20, looking East. We didn’t see any elk.

Pastoral scene along Highway 20

Mount Baker. In the foreground are fields of blueberry bushes on the far side of the irrigation canal.

Would this photo make a good picture-postcard? I think so!

Nearly-full moon.

Leaving the town of LaConner at sunset.

Those are Trumpeter Swans. Mount Baker is Pink!

You can see the features on the Moon.
