The Voters of the State of Washington Double Down on Democrat Destruction

May I add my disgust at the results of yesterday’s election.  I am ashamed to be a resident of the state where the voters vote themselves higher taxes, boondoggle projects that waste their dollars (choo-choo train that 1% of the population will ride), essentially disarm their police (after I 940 passes with 60% support, police will be regulated to death and almost have to ask the criminal’s permission to respond with deadly force-the initiative Curbs Police Violence!!); disarm themselves with gun regulations (I 1639 adds more onerous regulation of legal firearms owned by law-abiding citizens, thus reducing every citizen’s ability to defend himself from the increasing crime, especially in cities); and make all the more certain that more ineffective social programs are coming.

The voters of WA sent an abortion-supporting Pediatrician(!) to Congress, turning Blue a district that has been Red for many years; voted down their loudest voice in the State House against the predations of un-Sound Transit (I wish Mark Harmsworth much luck and prosperity in the rest of his life, and mourn that I do not live in his district), and sent even more D’s to the state legislature. [And the Board of un-Sound Transit is about to give the Capo di Tutti Capi a big raise-on MY DIME].  I always knew my own district was a lost cause (the ass with the perpetual sneer who is NOT my “representative” in Congress received 72% of the vote) and the entire state is even a bigger lost cause now.  Of the ten WA congressional districts, seven are now represented by Democrats.

As expected, the citizens of Seattle voted themselves another huge “families and education levy” that will not improve either families or education (throwing money at problems never solves them).  But then, the liberals who tax themselves to death do not CARE whether they have any effect whatsoever; they just feel so good that they are helping (which they do not).

State voters did do a couple of good things.  They emphatically rejected yet another “carbon fee”, which we recognize is really a Carbon Tax, and they made illegal the banning or taxing of particular food products by local jurisdictions (here’s looking at you, Seattle Sweetened Beverage Tax).

Well, the citizens of the State of Washington get exactly the government they elect.  I just wish I didn’t have to live with what the Democ-Rats vote for.

The folks at Automattic asked us to blog about our voting today

This is perhaps not what they wanted to hear, but it is the Truth.  When there was a Republican running, that’s whom I voted for.  The Republican Party in Washington State is a joke.  The man with the perpetual sneer who “represents’ my district doesn’t have to campaign, since he has next to no opposition.  I find this abhorrent.  On my ballot there were half a dozen offices where there was only one candidate.  I never vote for anyone running unopposed.

I voted, even though my vote counts for next to nothing in this deep blue state.  I support President Donald Trump, and I have hope that the Republicans will retain their majority in the House and add to their Senate majority.  However, I will not be staying up late tonight to watch the returns.  I have work to do that is way more important.

This is me last week on Halloween.  I dressed up as Washington’s worst nightmare-an avid Trump supporter.

This is thoroughly disgusting-Liberal Violence

Donald Trump won the Presidential Election.  As we probably expected, the loser liberals erupted in volcanic Rage.  Whenever things don’t go the way they want them to go, the liberals whine, cry, and riot.  Yes, RIOT.  In many large cities this week, there were the kinds of destructive riots that are basically the only way the losers know to express their feelings of disappointment and anger.

Well, they don’t only cry and whine.  They destroy the property of innocent people, and they violently attack those they deem to have voted for the wrong guy.  These are the people who decry violence and demonstrate against war!  Here are today’s headlines:

I have to say, I had a great time on Tuesday night.  I spent 2.5 hours in front of my computer, participating in the live chat with my Ricochet friends.  There must have been over 200 of us, from all over the world, chiming in and giving reports of how the voting was going in their areas.  People would come back from casting their ballots, and mention lines around the block at the polling stations.  Many people were watching other broadcast and Internet media, and they would tell us what MSNBC and ABC and CBS and CNN were doing and saying.  One member from Florida was very enthusiastic about how well the Republicans were doing in his state, which was considered a battleground.  Many people mentioned how depressed the mainstream media folks were acting, as Donald Trump pulled ahead in state after state.  Those who live in a bubble of liberalism were finally being hit with a big spray of cold, hard reality.  I thought it was a joke, but it seems that the Canadian web site for potential immigrants actually went down under the weight of Hollywood and other celebrities and liberals making good on their threats to leave if Trump was elected. [I say to them, don’t let the door hit you on your way out!]

So, now it’s the Great Aftermath, and lots of liberals out there, especially the coddled young snowflakes, are reacting just like you’d expect them to.  How?  By protesting, of course!  These cry-bullies seem not to know how to do anything except protest.  In Seattle, they hit the streets.  In California, the CEO of a tech company suggested very strongly that any employee who voted for Trump should resign!  They are so blind, they who emphasize “tolerance and inclusion” proceed to exclude and discriminate against those who don’t think or vote like they do!  Oh, and the Stock Market!  Thursday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up over 200 points.  But the Nasdaq Composite Index fell over 42 points-another Liberal tantrum (tech companies are run by liberals who don’t know what side of their bread is buttered).

There are a lot of happy Republicans today.  We hold out hope that Trump will really make a start on draining the swamp of Washington D.C.  There are multiple posts over on Ricochet, with suggestions for a Trump Cabinet, and who he should nominate for the Supreme Court.  We hope to say good-bye to ObamaCare in the new year.

I live in Deep Blue Washington State, where most western Washington voters voted for Hillary Clinton.  I have a really hard time understanding why anyone would want an old, tired, sick, corrupt woman as president.  If you really look at her record, such as it is, you will see that she had absolutely nothing to recommend her, and she had a whole litany of immoral, illegal actions for which the fawning Press will never hold her to account.  Hillary Clinton demonstrably caused the deaths of four brave Americans in Benghazi, then lied to their relatives about how and why they died!  She played fast and loose for years with confidential, classified State Secrets, for which many others have lost their jobs and gone to prison!  I am disgusted with how the politicized FBI let her off scot-free.

We are fortunate that the Clinton Crime Family won’t be running this country.

I wish only for the best of a Trump Administration.  I think he will do well as president, rolling back the misdeeds of the Obama years.  Onward to Liberty!

The Election

I voted for Donald Trump.  Because I emphatically don’t want this to rule over me.

clintons-frown

I don’t want to be ruled by the Clinton Crime Family.  I don’t want total corruption to live in the White House.  I don’t want my taxes enriching the Clinton Family.

I don’t want an already-politicized FBI and IRS to literally threaten me and the rest of the American people with ruin if we step out of line. I don’t want the new Gigolo-in-chief screwing his little interns in the White House family quarters.

I don’t want the lap-dog national press corps licking the Clinton boots for the next four years, instead of reporting what is really happening.

I don’t want my life to be a line item in the federal budget, to be minimized at all costs, which is what will happen when ObamaCare (by design) morphs into Government-run health care.  I don’t want to be forced to “just take a pain pill” instead of getting my needed knee-replacement surgery (I am 67 years old).

I don’t want an already-politicized Supreme Court destroying what is left of the Bill of Rights in the name of “diversity” and “equality”.  I don’t want to be told that I am not to be allowed to defend myself in my own home.  With the already-in-effect War on Cops, they won’t be there to defend me, which makes me and my family sitting ducks.

I don’t want to live in a country that values felons over law-abiding citizens.  I don’t want to live in a country that values non-citizen, ILLEGAL immigrants over law-abiding citizens.  I don’t want to live in a country that values Government Power over the peoples’ power.  I don’t want to live in a country that values “green” energy over proven modes of generating the electricity that makes an industrialized country run, including the abundant coal, oil, natural gas, and hydro-power that is actually affordable by most everyone.  Funny, wind turbines don’t produce power when the wind is not blowing, and solar arrays don’t produce power when it’s dark or overcast!

Oh, and one more thing…  I do NOT want to be “governed” by someone who despises me!  We know from the WikiLeaks emails that Hillary despises us “common” people, the ones who make this country work.  She does not deserve to occupy the highest office in the land.

I am not looking forward to living in Hillary Clinton’s America.

Proof Positive that Money Cannot Buy Votes

Proof Positive that Money Cannot Buy Votes

Democrats tend to say that they are interested in getting the money out of politics.  To this end, they have passed numerous campaign finance “reforms”, and when running for office they tend to disparage the influence of Super Pacs (except, of course, for their own) and big corporate donors. [Just don’t ask Hillary the Harpy about all those $500,000 speaking engagements for big investment banks]

This week, we saw the demise of the Jeb Bush campaign for the Republican nomination for president.  His campaign, and his “Right to Rise” Super Pac spent in the neighborhood of $23 Million, to secure the votes of primary voters in three states.  Funny, but all that money did NOT buy him victory!  Too bad all that evil money was wasted on a candidate who was, simply, NOT the choice of the Republican primary voter.  Most of us in the Republican Party “base” tend to prefer a real conservative, and Jeb was not.

Thoughts on the Midterm Election…and After

Thoughts on the Midterm Election…and After

Most of the votes are counted.  Winners and losers have been declared.  All day yesterday, and most of today, I’ve been projecting into the future, what yesterday’s election results mean.    Many Democrats went down to defeat yesterday, as did the majority of libertarians running as such (Michael Medved likes to call them “losertarians”).  Stalwart Republican Governors like Rick Scott of Florida, Rick Snyder of Michigan, Paul LePage of Maine, and Scott Walker of Wisconsin held off their lowlife Democrat challengers, and will now have the next four years to continue to implement their policies of greater freedom and lower taxes for their constituents.  Since Scott Walker in Wisconsin did away with automatic union dues withholding for teachers, their unions have lost up to half of their members (whose dues support Democrat candidates), and school districts that were in debt and doing poorly are running surpluses.  In New York, Andrew Cuomo will have a mandate to increase taxes on his “golden goose” financial-industry bigwigs.  I wonder when they will finally have had enough, and decamp en-masse for Florida (which has no income taxes, and a much nicer climate).

I hope this election finally puts to rest the Democrat lie of the Republican “war on women”.  How about Mia Love, the black woman from Utah, who won election to the House of Representatives.  How about Saira Blair, elected to the House from West Virginia, at age 18!  How about Janet Nguyen and Young Kim, elected to the California legislature (which is 100% in Democrat control).  How about Senators Joni Ernst of Iowa, and Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia.  Republicans can’t be undertaking a war on women, because they ARE women!

Many of us conservatives out there are gloating, at least for a while.  But just having R’s in control of Congress does not guarantee that we can push back the tides of socialist decline in our country.  The next Congress will have some huge projects to get to.  Like repealing all or part of Obamacare, stopping the higher minimum-wage, fighting back against the president “pen-and-phone” declaration of amnesty for millions of illegal aliens (which is guaranteed to come), repealing many of the cuts to the defense budget, and enforcing our southern border to stop more illegals from crossing.  They will have their work cut out for them, big-time.

Here is what I want the Republicans to do (good luck with that!):

Fight Obama on every front.  No compromise!  No yielding on our principles!

Pass smaller spending bills to fund the important things, like the VA, Defense, and the CDC.

Stop the Executive Branch from tearing down our allies, and courting our enemies.  Support the State of Israel in every way possible.

Get control of the EPA bureaucracy, and STOP the war on coal, which is still a vital part of our energy mix.

Approve the Keystone Pipeline, which can create thousands of “living-wage” jobs.

Repeal Obamacare.

STOP TRASHING OUR BASE-LISTEN TO AND WORK WITH THE TEA PARTY, because we are the future.

Begin the process of eliminating the Department of Education in its entirety.  Reduce the peoples’ taxes in the entire amount of their budget.

Enact tax reform, so the people who make this country work can be free to invest their money their way, and save for their own retirement.

Stop the Bureau of Labor Statistics from grossly understating the real unemployment rate in the US.  No more doctored figures!

Quit taking abuse from the mainstream press.  Start fighting back against their lies and mis-information campaigns, and refuse to answer their leading questions-point out what they are really doing.  And take this fight to the public, all day every day.

And most importantly of all, DEFEAT THE LIMBAUGH THEOREM BY TYING OBAMA’S NAME TO ALL HIS DESTRUCTIVE POLICIES.  MAKE IT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR JUST WHO IS DESTROYING OUR GREAT COUNTRY.

I want the next two years to be the Obama Administration’s worst nightmare.  And our finest hour.
