We got to town around 5:00PM, offloaded our gear at our hotel, and attended the first performance of the amateur bands. Of course, Tempo Trends Music, from Victoria, BC, had their normal extensive display …
I sure hope the Eyer Sisters win the Bands category in the Leavenworth International Accordion Celebration. Here are Ivy on the accordion and Nelia on two different instruments. On my walk outside the building where I work, I heard a bird chirping. See who I found. You can tell the adult bird is a male by his black head. We have these birds year-round.
Someone I follow on X is an excellent Astro-photographer and he made a thrilling capture. Below is the result. Meet Andrew McCarthy. https://twitter.com/ajamesmccarthy/status/1917644658773221832?s=46&t=AkJV8dX_RyhUKPG8uj0KNQ Awesome! He left his camera, and we get a front-row seat to the rocket launch.
Today’s funnies come from Simon’s Cat. No introduction needed. She always looks so serious, and I suppose she should, since she is going through chemotherapy for lymphoma. She handles it like a champ. https://twitter.com/missybbbobtail/status/1540481549254201344?s=46&t=AkJV8dX_RyhUKPG8uj0KNQ Cats are inscrutable I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend, with …
To start with, a couple of cute cartoons. What cat owner has not been through this? And a funny meme that I sent a friend who has two new cats. One of them is a breed seen below.
