I was amazed by that too. I’m sure in England areas like that would be fenced off. I’ll always remember seeing a surprisingly thick book in the gift shop telling the stories of the people who fell.
I was in England in 1984, and we visited Tintagel, on the coast of Cornwall. We wondered why the stone steps down to the water had no railings or other such safety features. I’ll bet they do now.

I agree with you. It requires high courages to walk on the top like that. I definitely would not do that..

Not a good place for people with a fear of heights!
Yeah, like me! Just looking at that picture gives me the jitters. I stood well behind the railing to take all my pictures.
