Last weekend, Hubby and I visited Uwajimaya, a local Asian store. There was a gorgeous exhibit of intricately-made dolls. Someone spent many hours making these authentic dolls in their gorgeous costumes. I was impressed!

Dang it, now making me even more “old home” sick for a place where we were only two hours from a Daiso store…. (Japanese dollar store, though it’s mroe in the US.)
Growing up, my granny had three of those, one for each son. I think my kids’ godmother got them. So neat…..
I was lucky to have my iPod with me to take the pictures on the spur of the moment. We miss you out here!
Miss you guys, too! not sure if I mentioned, got a transfer so we’re headed to Des Moines. 0.o
We really liked DesMoines when we passed through there on our way to Hillsdale in 2010. We both liked Iowa.
