Rush Limbaugh Quote of the Week

It occurred to me today that it’s been a long time since I did a Limbaugh Quote post.  Here’s a short, sweet quote from Rush, about how he felt about school.

I’d get up in the morning, get ready to go to school, and I would dread it.  I hated it.  My mother would have the radio on.  And the guy on the radio sounded line he was having so much fun.  and I knew, when his program was over, he wasn’t going to go to school.

School was a subject Rush discussed frequently on his program, referring to how much he hated school, both K-12 school and college. He told the story of how he got a toy radio set when he was eight years old, and that was when he decided he wanted a radio career.

And what a career he made.  Just this past week, there have been numerous posts over on Twitter by various people I follow, saying how much they miss Rush.  With the way things are going in our country, the need for Rush’s wisdom is greater than ever.
