Better Late Than Never-July 4 in Everett, Washington

Normally we go to Bellevue on the East Side of Lake Washington to watch the fireworks at the Bellevue Downtown Park. This year, Hubby went to play squash during the day, so we decided it was too far, so instead we went down to the Everett waterfront park to watch the fireworks by the Marina. First, this from the boat channel, right at sunset.

Right behind the boat is the end of Jetty Island. A short distance away, someone was setting off fireworks before the real show.

This is a short time later at the end of sunset. It was quite beautiful.

And then, the fireworks.

See the reflections of the fireworks in the water! It was a pretty good show, and people, kids, and dogs were all very well-behaved.

We do celebrate America’s Birthday in a big way. God Bless America.
