Yesterday while you were enjoying the sunshine on your long weekend, this is what was happening in the communist hellhole of Seattle. A Christian group had a rally in a local park, doing what Seattle does best. Protesting.
They were rallying against the abortion death cult, and violence, which owns Seattle. And, of course, they were met with exactly what they were protesting against. The violence of Antifa.

This is Seattle.
Seattle is no longer a pleasant place to live. The mayor is a Christian-hater, and supports Antifa destruction. Why would any law-abiding citizen live in such a place?

As we all have observed so frequently, these people are clinically insane, and will kill you as soon as look at you, as my dear departed Mom used to say. (She, by the way, had several dozen shoeboxes full of audio cassettes of El Rushbo, dating back to the late 1980’s. Not sure she ever listened to them… 😉 ) She made them all with a little portable Norelco cassette recorder.
Would it make any difference, even if all the remaining sane people living in blue hellholes, like Seattle, were to leave? I don’t know. Maybe the exposure (and, we hope, eventual shutdown) of the back-door funding of the NGO State, by money literally stolen from taxpayers, would mean such departures would have a real negative impact on the revenues of the blue cities and force some positive changes.
Or not.
I don’t know, but Texas is still ready for you whenever you’ve had enough. It doesn’t all look like the setting of Giant. <grin>

I understand that Texas is having problems of its own these days, including invasion by Muslims and the existing city of illegals (Colony Ridge). I want to get out of here, but Texas isn’t on our short list right now. Wherever we land, we would be closer to you!
That’s a developing story. So far the local government folks who have learned of the deal are not supporting it. But if TX ain’t your style, let me plug my birth home state of Missouri. Just stay far away from KC and St. Louis and you’ll be okay. 😁😎
I’m certainly not going to talk you into adding TX to your short list but instead of focusing on ‘invasion by Muslims and the existing city of illegals (Colony Ridge)’, I would look at a red county…preferably one surrounded by red counties but ‘mostly surrounded’ will do in some cases (and may be necessary regarding easy access for certain health care related accommodations).
Hubby has a hard and fast condition, the availability of a high-end athletic club with squash courts. He brought up the idea of Ohio as a destination, with its four population centers, all of which have such facilities. Ohio is especially attractive due to its proximity to Hillsdale College. Ohio is a bright red state too, and has a chance of electing Vivek Ramaswamy as governor. Anything is better than Washington.

so is seattle one of those communities where the idea of ‘kill them all and let God sort them out’ a valid thing or is it still a ‘turn the other cheek until the torturer gets too tired to lift his arm and hit you again’ thing?
