Sigh…. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any crazier, opposition to the Navy’s precision flying team, the Blue Angels, breaks out in Seattle. The story gets covered in both the local and national media. There are actually two stories.
The first one is the sob story of the woman who is suing the Navy over the death of her cat. She claims that her senior cat, who had congestive heart failure, succumbed to the trauma of jet noise when the Blue Angels flew over her house when they were rehearsing for their Seafair show.
The woman claims she was “silenced” on social media. There are many different takes on her situation.
She has the right to speak, but each account has the right to refuse to listen. I understand that she was blocked due to the foul language she used in her responses on X.
Now for a couple of the national news stories.
Now, for that other issue. Damage to the climate, and noise. This was the big national story, and local too. Seattle is well known for its high proportion of “activist” residents.

Elderly, leftist snowflakes. Ideas make them cry. They don’t get much sympathy.
People throng to high ground all over the Seattle area to watch and cheer on the Blue Angels. When Hubby worked for Aerospace Giant, we were allowed to walk the flight line and meet some of the pilots.
The environmental wackos deserve all the mocking they are receiving. Blue Angels rock, and Seattle should not be denied its patriotic pride in their show.
