So, Readers, what do you think of this sentiment?

This X post is somewhat self-explanatory. None of the commenters disagreed with the author.

Am I the only one who thinks that this statement is just plain wrong? The author is human too, and runs a project preserving oak woodlands in Britain. I follow him. If he wants humans to get out of the way, shouldn’t he do so? He says that humans are destroying the planet.

I disagree, and here are some photos of Britain. Destroying the planet?

What do you think? Are humans destroying the planet?

  1. It reminds me of the funny-once thing my mom picked up from her dad- someone says “this is no good!” or similar, and the automatic response is “good for what?”

Without care and work, “ancient woodland” quickly becomes horrible. Humans tend to adore the between places– not woods, but not fully field, either, there’s more flowers and….well, you can picture it. 😀

And yes, that is a dangerous mindtrap, of “humans bad.”

  2. BabyBoy (#7) walked in and climbed into my chair, and wants you to know the blog post has an S.

Then gave me a cuddle and closed his eyes for a quick nap.

This part of humans is definitely wonderful.

    1. Well, give your kiddo a big hug, and tell him “Good job! You will be reading in no time!” And let him know that I will be happy to read to him if we visit. Now that I am fully retired, we can do some traveling. Hugs to you and the entire family!

No, humans are not destroying the planet. The post proves that (1) human can make an observation without resulting in any destruction or “getting in the way.” What an attitude. Does the author not consider himself or herself part of the human race? What an idiot. He/she doesn’t really have any point by the addition of the stinger line. Other than as clickbait, very likely and consciously.

  4. No, we are not destroying the planet. God created it for us. We are its stewards, and the development of its resources for the betterment of human civilization is what God intended. Everything else is noise.

This guy reminds me of the criminal protagonists in the Tom Clancy novel Rainbow Six. He should maybe read that and think about the ending.

    God bless all here.
