This week, our friend Tina is running things, and she asks us to slightly alter the photographic “Rule of Thirds” which divides the space into thirds, both vertically and horizontally. Instead, she asks us for a subject containing three elements. Three’s a crowd? Let’s see.

In the above photo, there are just three spectators in the stands, watching the young lady put her horse through its paces at the Western Washington Fair.

See the three birds in the tree? Outside our window in Coldwater, Michigan this past February. The temperature was hovering right around zero.

These three ornate “Bavarian” buildings are in Leavenworth, Washington’s Bavarian Village. In the third week of June is the International Accordion Celebration, and these streets will be thronged with people towing their instruments to the various sites of workshops and performances.

And here are three of the many accordions for sale in the Festhalle, at the Petosa booth.

Staying in Leavenworth, this three-piece set of patio furniture was where we sat at a little restaurant for lunch. And yes, the chairs were as uncomfortable as they look.

This photo taken at Turdstock 2024 in Nashville has two “threes”. Three guitars, and three people on stage. That’s country star John Rich on Guitar, Gretchen Wilson singing, and Angie Aparo watching. All three are fabulous performers.
Here’s the Link to Tina’s original post for this week.
Lots of fun variety in this one! I especially liked the accordions. Believe it or not I took accordion lessons “back in the day”. I quit after one or two lessons and my folks bought me a piano which I loved and still play today. But my older brother stuck with the accordion and played it for years 😊.
Hubby inherited his dad’s accordion when he died in 2001. He took lessons and joined a band, until in 2021 when they kicked him out for not getting the Covid shot. He bought himself a keyboard and taught himself the piano. Now, he plays it all the time. We do still go to Leavenworth and he does some workshops to keep playing his accordion.
I love the patio set although I can see it would be incredibly uncomfortable!
