I just returned from my second day of volunteering at Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter, and this is what greeted me at the door when I first walked in.

Yep, there are actually four! Can you see the missing kitten? I really couldn’t figure out which was which, since they all looked basically alike, all were cute as little buttons.
There was another volunteer in a room across the hall, and the kitties were watching her.

How about this regal pose?

Here they were on my way out.

Later, I went upstairs to see the other cats, but I couldn’t help but check these guys on my way home. They did not disappoint.

Since these guys weren’t there last week, I don’t know if they will be there the next time I volunteer, which will be in three weeks. If I wanted a new cat right now, I’d sure take all four!
Oh, Carol. They are exactly what I was hoping for before I got Loren and Enzo. I’d take them all too, but I can’t add more cats. Enzo would freak out. ________________________________
I just gasped when I first walked into the main building this afternoon and saw them. If we weren’t leaving for the Mark Steyn cruise next week, I might have adopted two of them, once again going against my own vow to make our next cats something other than black. We aren’t considering adopting again until we get back on October 13. My bet is that they will be gone by then.
