At least, in our backyard they do.  On Thursday, while waiting for our roast to cook, I sat at the kitchen table and watched our feathered friends in the yard.  We had both kinds of Chickadees (Black-capped and Chestnut-backed), Red-shafted Flickers, Juncos, Varied Thrushes, and Song Sparrows.
