My desk at my temp job is in front of a west-facing window. Ever since I started there in July, the afternoon sun bathes my desk in light. One day, I noticed my reading glasses right in the sunshine on my desk. They cast an interesting shadow, making an everyday object a piece of art.

I just took these two photos in my back yard. Both cedar trees are in the next yard over. I was fascinated by the sunlight inside the trees. Some of the inner branches are illuminated, when the outer branches are not.
