…this is what I would say to the local School Board, in person.

So, I understand the the X School System has decided to adopt Critical Race Theory in our elementary schools.  I strongly object to this indoctrination of all of our children.  My child is white, like her parents, and from birth she has been taught that she is a good person, a worthwhile person, and a beautiful person.  My child has been taught by her parents to be happy, and grateful to have been born in the Greatest Country on God’s Green Earth, the United States of America.  She has been taught to be kind to others, both children and adults, regardless of race, religion, or station in life.  She has been taught to be polite to everyone she meets, to listen when someone else is talking, and to answer nicely if asked a question.  My child cannot change the immutable characteristic of the color of her skin, and I deeply resent the basic tenet of Critical Race Theory, that, by virtue of the inborn color of her skin, that my child is a born “oppressor” of other people whose skin color is different from hers.

I WILL NOT HAVE HER TEACHERS TRY TO MAKE MY CHILD ASHAMED OF A CHARACTERISTIC WHICH SHE CANNOT CHANGE.  I WILL NOT HAVE MY CHILD FORCED TO THINK OF HERSELF AS BAD, AN OPPRESSOR, OR A BORN RACIST!  YOU WILL NOT FORCE MY CHILD TO DESCRIBE HERSELF AS HATEFUL, HUMILIATE HERSELF IN FRONT OF HER FRIENDS, OR APOLOGIZE TO ANYONE ELSE FOR ACTS IN WHICH SHE DID NOT PARTICIPATE.  I WILL NOT LET HER TEACHERS INCULCATE IN MY CHILD, SHAME FOR THE COLOR OF HER SKIN, OR HATRED FOR HER MANY FINE, UPSTANDING ANCESTORS, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WERE WHITE, AND TO PEOPLE TO WHOM THOSE ACTS DID NOT HAPPEN.

If you, the X School Board, insist on adopting this Marxist system of hatred and Racism, I promise to pull my child out of the public schools, and send her to a private school, where she will be taught to be proud of herself and her ancestors, and not to hate herself, her parents, and her relatives simply due to the color of her skin.  I will not subject my wonderful, sweet child to the indoctrination of the Public Schools, rather than a real education.

I seem to remember a gentleman named Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King,Jr., who said in his best-known speech in 1963:

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

By adopting the Evil Critical Race Theory, this school system is casting its lot with the worst Racists of our history.  Please step back from the brink, and go forward in Reason, not Racism.
