Flowing Water

Just a couple of pictures I took today, on the way to Leavenworth, WA on US Highway 2. Not far from Leavenworth is the old Tumwater Dam on the Wenatchee River, which used to be a hydroelectric power plant. Now, it’s just a beautiful waterfall, at the end of a beautiful stretch of deceptively calm water. Here’s what the river looks like behind the old dam.

The water looks pretty calm, doesn’t it. It is actually flowing pretty fast. Here’s what is just down river (to the East) from this scene.

Here’s my Video now posted on my Rumble site.

You should hear the sound of this wide waterfall in the middle of the river. I will be posting some video on my Rumble site tomorrow.
