I like flowers, but no way can I grow them. The azalea bush below has grown near my front door since I moved into my new house in June of 2000. My real estate agent gave it to me as a housewarming present, and it has flowered most years since then. Not bad, for 21 years!
Like their cousin, the rhododendron, azaleas come in a variety of warm colors. Here’s a bush growing by the path down to Snoqualmie Falls. A riot of color, if you ask me.
Here’s a link to Cee’s original post for July 2.
That azalea photo is wild. I adore your photography. Thanks for playing along today 😀
Thanks! I had lost track of you, but I’m glad to be back in the thick of things. Cheers!
“I like flowers, but no way can I grow them.” Oh, I struggle with this sentiment as well. I love your azalea, and if mine manages even one blossom next year (only about 12 years in), I’ll send you a photo. Deal?
Of course!
