Leafless Winter Trees

This afternoon, I went to a local park, where I had not visited in many years.  The lake is mostly surrounded by private homes, but there’s a small park, with a couple of docks, around the south end of the lake.  None of the deciduous trees had leaves yet, and I think that many of them are dead.  In fact, the south end of the lake shows signs of flooding in the past that drowned many trees.  Here are a couple of the photos I took.

I have always loved the bare branches against a winter blue sky, and both were evident this afternoon.
