Cee’s Black and White Challenge this week is Flowers. Just recently I took one of the photos of my Valentine’s bouquet roses and made it black-and-white (see the color in the header photo on my blog).
I just love the detail that comes out in the black-and-white version.
I went out in the back yard to get photos of the Solomon’s Seal that grows there. Here it is in color.
And black-and-white.
I think the water droplets look better in the black-and-white version.
My best friend has this really weird plant growing in front of their house. I don’t know what it is.
It’s weird enough in color, but it black and white it’s almost sinister.
Thanks for the ideas, Cee! It makes us look at our environment in entirely new ways.

Wonderful post for this week. Thanks for playing along 😀
Love the macro shot of the rose!
