This past weekend, the Wall Street Journal did a story on Isabella Rossellini, daughter of Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini.  She had an illustrious career as a model and actress, and now lives on a farm in New York State.  The article gives prompts, and she filled in the rest.

To the prompt: When you’re older, she said:

…you pick and choose the work you want to do.  When you’re young, you have so much to prove.  You have to become financially independent.  You can do more.  When you’re old, you just say “I’m going to die.  I’ll do what I want.”
