All the houses in our detached-condo neighborhood have received new roofs in the past year. This week, the last homes are getting their new tops. The roofers had to take a week off, because the temperatures were in the 90s, but they were finishing up the job this week.
The truck delivering materials to the job site has a “self-loader” on it, so the crane on the truck lifts the shingles up directly to the roofers on high. I stood and watched for a minute.
