So, let’s have some serious Feline Fun. First off, some cute cat cartoons. It’s really easy to make all sorts of jokes about cat behavior, and what they would say if they could talk.

What cat owner hasn’t encountered this sort of situation?

Remember the saying? “Dogs have owners, cats have staff”.
And they are often known for being excessively picky about what they eat.

Our cat, Kikyo, has been known to get into some interesting places in our house.
Here she is, on each of her two cat trees. The blue one is in the kitchen, so she can watch us eat dinner. She does like to hang around with us.

Here she is on the high plant shelf, leaning against a vase in the shape of a cat. Too bad she doesn’t know it’s supposed to be a cat!
In a previous life, I had a beautiful Abyssinian cat. I think she was the most intriguing cat I ever had. She used to climb her tall cat tree next to a big window, and get on the curtain rod. She would walk all the way across the window, with her outside feet on the curtain rod and her inside feet on the crown molding. Sometimes we had to lift her down!

Speaking of Abyssinian cats, my Hero, Rush Limbaugh, had two different Abyssinian cats in the time I knew him.

The one he is holding is Punkin, and Rush would tell stories of her antics around the house.
Oh, I almost forgot! I have a new “cat” in my life these days. That would be the Internet Sensation known as Catturd. He has a daily podcast with Jewels Jones, and offers daily commentary on Twitter, which is where I found him. He is a lovable guy who lives on a ranch in Florida, where he has rescue cats and dogs. He rescued three feral cats, who he calls his “Kittenturds”, and they are absolutely gorgeous!
Our cats are our “owners” and “masters”, and we are glad to cater to their every whim, because they give us so much pleasure every day. There is nothing so relaxing as a purring kitty in your lap. So go pet your kitty, and give her a treat for International Cat Day.
