All Power to the People (with a little help from AI)

Someone I knew used to say “All power to the people who shout “All power to the People”. Well, that phrase was brought to fruition in the past couple of days. This is living proof that The People are back, and we showed how our Shouts are listened to, heard, and acted upon our so-called Representatives in Congress in Washington DC. The spineless Speaker of the House and his lily-livered colleagues tried to put another one over on the Public, and with our new tools of X and AI, we literally read them the riot act.

Mike Johnson told us that the 1500-page Omnibus Continuing Resolution (the sorry excuse for a federal budget) would be the last Porky Pig before President Donald Trump takes power again in January, and they really needed to pass this one to keep the government running. Well, many of us knew that was a big lie, and Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Grok (the AI program available to X subscribers) parsed that huge piece of Lard, and found all the garbage that Congress was trying to get passed right under our noses.

The People showed today how much more powerful we are now, and that we can hold Congress’s feet to the fire, making sure they can’t conduct business as usual in DC any longer. We won’t let them pass 40% salary increases for themselves, new bio-labs, censorship mandates, Covid lockdown authority, and a new DC football stadium, without answering to us. Here’s how it was done.

If you aren’t already, you should sign up for a Rumble account, so you can listen to Jewels and Catturd’s daily podcast. The Big Cat was totally on a roll this afternoon! You can listen here.

They tracked in real time how public outcry on X and phone calls to representatives’ offices actually changed the trajectory of legislation that Congress expected us to sit still for. Well, we are through sitting still.

Sorry if this is duplicative, but I wanted you to see both posts, from Bill Ackman and Cynical Publius (one of the best accounts on X that everyone should be following). And our screams and phone calls did the trick. The House abandoned the Pork Party, and will work on a short, sweet bill to only keep the government funded until January, when the new Trump administration takes over. They know now that they are being watched closely, and that we KNOW what they are doing every minute.

Onward!

  1. A lot of things have been called “historic” lately, mostly exaggerated. It is no exaggeration to apply that label to this event. I predict that, if we save the Republic, the events of this day will be studied by future generations as the end of the Uniparty empire.

Was there any groundswell of support among Democrats or RINO sympathizing voters for the ‘stuff’ that The People found objectionable in the 1500-page resolution? I’m very dubious there would be any public support on either side of the aisle for any of this egregious ‘stuff’ made public. That says to me that the Uniparty and Deep State are their own constituency, attempting to serve and gorge themselves one last time while they think no one is looking, at a time where they think they have a must pass bill, because they still think they can control where the blame gets laid if the government gets shut down. With government like this, we would be better off shut down than approve that pork-on-stilts bill. A continuing resolution is the opposite of one that introduces new projects and creates whole new categories of liabilities. The Congress is on notice now that the voters are watching. We have many people now who have a passion for digging into what government is up to and the tools to share it effectively. Gone are the days of the big three networks when they could just pour swill down our throats with impunity. Kudos to Jewels Jones and Catturd!
