This is what my state has become.

The local press has an article today, stating that an event is scheduled to draw thousands to downtown Seattle tomorrow, resulting in “traffic disruptions”.

SEATTLE — Parts of Seattle are expected to come to a halt Saturday as demonstrators take to the streets ahead of President-elect Trump’s inauguration on Monday.

Saturday’s People’s March comes after more than 175,000 people attended a similar gathering in Seattle in 2017.

In that year, the gathering was branded as the Woman’s March, but this time around organizers are calling it the People’s March because so many different organizations are joining together to protest the expected policies of the new Trump Administration.

Sponsors of the gathering include leaders from Abortion Action Now, Time to Act, Women’s March, Popular Democracy In Action, Harriet’s Wildest Dreams, The Feminist Front, NOW, Planned Parenthood, National Women’s Law Center Action Fund, Sierra Club, and many others.

Organizers told KOMO News that they anticipated around 10,000 people to show up.

Given the crowd size, organizers said they anticipate major traffic disruptions between Capitol Hill and Seattle Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Throughout the United States, there are at least 100 People’s March demonstrations scheduled to take place in cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Translation: Every Leftist group in the Seattle area will be gathering tomorrow for a mass temper tantrum, marching, yelling, carrying signs, and vowing to fight the duly-elected President of the United States, Donald Trump. As if this mass tantrum will have any effect on the new/former President’s actions or policies. Washington is the home of Antifa, and an abortion lobby so powerful as to enshrine abortion as the Holy Sacrament of the state, and a “sanctuary”. Residents simply wanting to get from point A to point B will have to find alternate routes, as the local law enforcement is spread very thin and will not be preventing the demonstrators from blocking streets. It’s always “taxpayers last” in Seattle.

The new Governor has already vowed to spend millions of our tax dollars opposing anything the President does, just because he’s Trump. Any improvement in the local or national economy that results from the new administration’s policies will be ignored and denied. These people are certifiably insane, and it will feel like we are living in the midst of a huge asylum. Any damage resulting from the “demonstrations” will be borne by those damaged, not by those doing the damage. Well, let them scream in frustration, because it will be whistling into the wind.

TRUMP IS BACK. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

This might be over-hyped slightly. Temperatures in downtown Seattle Saturday at 11:00 an are forecast at 37F, 32F at 9 am. This might not seem that cold to those from other parts of the country, but it might well put a damper on participation. Remember also that many Seattleites in their self-righteousness will often elect to take public transportation. That will involve more time waiting in the cold. Few demostrations and short news coverage, possibly hyped for clicks and headlines. I don’t expect a repeat of 2017.

    1. You’re right, the lefties do love their creature comforts, and since people who are not blessed with the wealth it takes to pursue luxury causes don’t have time for virtue signaling, they won’t be there, either. Unless they are being paid, of course.
