Flooding in Western Washington

For much of this week, we have had what the weather guys call an “atmospheric river” bringing heavy rain to our area from that big water to our west, known as the Pacific Ocean.

Here are some photos and videos showing our waters. First, Snoqualmie Falls.

And here’s one from a helicopter.

Note the sense of humor!

This is north of where we live.

We don’t live near any flood zones.

North of us is the Stillaguamish River in Skagit County. This bit is in Snohomish County.

In SW Washington near Vancouver.

Thanks to HypnoticMom on X for photo

And south of us…

Near Olympia
Near Tacoma

Back in my neck of the woods.

Even in BC Canada!

So you get the idea. Rain, rain, go away! We have had enough!
