The best thing Congress could do would be to repeal the PREP Act of 1986 that gave vaccine makers immunity from lawsuits for damages. But will they? Probably not, since big drug makers are politicians’ second largest donors, after teachers unions. But if enough citizens hound their senators and reps, maybe we can move the needle.
