Here is a generous sampling of what has been going on in Olympia, as Republicans hold Democrats to a long debate of the unconstitutional bill itself, and multiple amendments which need debate and separate votes. Republicans have been holding this debate literally all night long, attempting to run out the clock. The DemocRats of Washington are literally drooling at the possibility of billions more taxpayer dollars to spend on their money-laundering to their buddies in the Homeless-Industrial Complex (who always donate to them, keeping them in perpetual power). Despite the over 100,000 Washington voters who have expressed their dislike for adding an income tax on top of the other high taxes, the Dems are pushing this hard, knowing that their captive Supreme Court will find a way to approve it.

My family is in the same boat as above. I own my home mortgage-free, but rising property taxes and so many more new taxes might make remaining here impossible. For every citizen who leaves, the burden becomes heavier on those who stay. And the state DemocRats don’t care. They don’t have to.
