You will already be aware that the US and Israel are fighting a war with Iran, to ensure that they do not get nuclear weapons. Before now, we have basically decapitated their leadership and decimated their war-making capacity. But they still have assets that continue to shoot ballistic missiles (at Israel AND Muslim countries in the region, and shipping in the Straits of Hormuz), and attempt to shoot down our aircraft. Well, they shot down two of our planes last week, and America doesn’t take lightly to the destruction of its planes and personnel. The pilots of the first plane were quickly rescued, but only one of the pilots of the second plane was found and extracted quickly. Below is the story of what happened to the second pilot.

The picture is getting clearer โ and it’s extraordinary.
The downed F-15E has been identified as belonging to the ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐ ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐ง, 48th Fighter Wing, out of RAF Lakenheath in England (Air & Space Forces Magazine). These are America’s forward-deployed Strike Eagles in Europe โ now confirmed in the fight over Iran.
Here’s what happened to the weapons systems officer after he ejected.
According to an officer involved in monitoring the CSAR operation, the WSO ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ฝ ๐ฎ ๐ณ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ-๐ณ๐ผ๐ผ๐ ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ด๐ฒ with Iranian forces chasing him all day (DropSite News). Alone. Behind enemy lines. In the mountains of southwestern Iran. With a regime that put a $60,000 bounty on his head and sent state TV calling on civilians to hunt him down.
And he kept moving.
Defense analyst Babak Taghvaee reported ๐ฆ๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ฌ between U.S. Army Special Forces and IRGC Ground Forces in the Milas mount area of the Rig Mountains in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province โ right where the CSAR teams were operating. This wasn’t a quiet extraction. This was a fight.
The Iranian side tells the story from the other end. Reports from locals speaking to Iranian media say the IRGC is transferring ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ troops from “Black Mountain” to Dehdasht Hospital (HotAir). Plainclothes ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฃ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ sent to find the American were k!lled โ Iranian officials confirmed at least ๐ ๐๐๐๐ during recovery operations in the region. The IRGC has now warned its own civilians to stay away from the area.
Let that sink in. Iran sent its Revolutionary Guard and Basij militia to capture one American โ and they got wrecked.
As of this update, journalist Jack Murphy โ a former Green Beret with deep special operations sources โ reports the WSO has been ๐ซ๐๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ after a massive firefight at the recovery site (DropSite News). Multiple Special Forces community sources say he is safe and back in American hands. The Pentagon has not officially confirmed the second rescue.
But here’s what IS confirmed: the United States military sent its most elite operators into hostile Iranian mountains, fought through IRGC ground forces, and brought their people home.

RE: The Pilotโs Rescue (an alternate history) Itโs April 5th, 2026 (or, as President Kamala Harris declared it, the โTrans Day of Visibilityโ). On a routine training mission over Kuwait, an American F-15 pilot became disoriented, failed to respond to orders from her flight lead, and flew into Iranian airspace, only to be immediately shot down by Chinaโs latest air defense system, bought by Iran with the money President Harris had been shipping to Iran monthly to assist in the build-up of their nuclear weapons program.
The pilot was a 1st Lt. and had just recently graduated from flight school, over the objections of her instructor pilots. Despite her known shortcomings, the training squadron commander had been forced to give her a set of wings and an F-15 seat because otherwise he would have failed to meet his monthly quota for female pilots.
On the run, 1st Lt. Jones was doing the best she could to evade Iranian ground forces, but due to changes in SERE training to make it less offensive to a variety of leftwing grievance groups, she really did not know what she was doing. Still, she had not yet been captured.
President Harris convened her core inner circle for national defense matters in an emergency meeting: 1. Vice President Elmer Fudd (known for his proficiency in shooting down flying birds). 2. Secretary of State Adam Schiff. 3. National Security Advisor Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. 4. Secretary of Defense Tom Nichols. 5. CIA Director Alexander Vindman. 5. Chairwoman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff ADM Lisa Franchetti.
After 30 minutes of deliberation, the Presidentโs team determined it was too risky to mount an attempt to rescue 1st Lt. Jones. The CENTCOM commander was ordered to call Jones on her survival radio and order her to surrender, while Secretary Schiff would negotiate her release. (Israel had offered to help but President Harris would not even take their call.)
Following orders, 1st Lt. Jones surrendered and was taken to Tehran for interrogation. Due to the open borders policies of President Harris and her predecessor, President Biden, Iran had a large, functioning arm of its Quds Force on the ground in the USA. Members of that force went to 1st Lt. Jonesโ house and took pictures of her children playing in the front yard.
Showing these pictures to Jones and threatening to kill her children, 1st Lt. Jones was forced to film a tearful confession of war crimes and a lengthy denunciation of the USA as โThe Great Satan.โ (CNN played this video virtually on a loop for 7 days while their announcers silently smiled like Hannibal Lecter.)
Months of negotiations ensued between Schiff and Iran, and ultimately Schiff was able to obtain Jones’ release by agreeing to (i) ship 500 pounds of enriched, weapons grade uranium to Tehran, (ii) send $500bn in cash in small bills to the Iranian mullahs, (iii) withdraw all US forces from the Persian Gulf region, (iv) denounce Israel as a Satanic force and (v) make President Harris wear a hijab during all public appearances regarding the matter.
Upon 1LT Jonesโ return home, she was met with great fanfare by a hijab-wearing President Harris at the White House, where Jones was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross, a Purple Heart, promoted to Captain and appointed to carry Harrisโ nuclear football.
Months later Iran nuked Tel Aviv, Israel nuked Tehran in response and Secretary Schiff agreed to broker peace negotiations. (Unfortunately for the mullahs, the Twelfth Imam did not then arise from a well in Qom. Boy oh boy were they pissed.)
