Check out who dropped by this afternoon, just as we were getting ready to leave for Anacortes.


Sorry for the blur, photos taken through the back sliding glass door. This is the second time this Pileated Woodpecker has visited, and the first time he ate from our suet feeder!
We drove up to Anacortes, since its theater was the last place showing Young Washington. The movie was great, and we had the entire little theater to ourselves. This is what the outside of the building looks like.

And, finally, the downer of the day. We already knew the town was Leftist, and this confirms it. Ugh.

I didn’t think much about the butterfly in the No Kings poster at first, but isn’t that a reference to Silence of the Lambs? That butterfly is the opposite of warm and fuzzy.
