This afternoon, Hubby called me to the window to watch all the Northern Flickers in the yard. At one point, there were four of them, but I only managed to capture three. Here are some still shots. Please be aware that these were taken through a double-pane window from the second story bedroom.

You should be able to count the three birds in the tree. Really, there are three. One adult and two juveniles. It’s the adult calling. He kept that up for a very long time.

I just think these Flickers are so much fun to watch. The two juveniles should be leaving the nest soon.
