I first saw this story on Fox News, and it was very interesting, so I went to find a better description, and I did locate a fascinating story on BBC. Just late last year, a team of archaeologists uncovered signs of a city, near the town of Luxor in the Egyptian Valley of the Kings. When they excavated further, they discovered that they had found the very well-preserved ruins of a large city, with many intact artifacts. I have always loved reading about archaeology, and Egypt seems to be a land of treasures wherever you look. The BBC article is good, and the excavations are yielding a wealth of remains of the daily life of the city from the time of Amenhotep III. Give it a read!
