And especially, a salute to my co-worker Juan. I learned today that Juan joined the US Military before he became a US Citizen. I very much admire his initiative, and his obvious love for America, his adopted country. While in the service, Juan became an aircraft mechanic, helping to keep our complicated, expensive flying machines in good repair. He used that mechanic experience in his job at the company where I am employed, starting out in production as a machinist. Juan was an excellent employee, and the company rewarded his efforts by making him a Supervisor. Juan’s desk is next to mine, and I have been able to observe his interactions with the employees he supervises. If I were a production worker, I would just love to have Juan as my boss.
So, Thank You, Juan, for your exemplary service to our Country, and to the Company. You make all our lives better, every single day!
They are brave and saved us.
