I have been living in my house for nearly 22 years. This house is one of the first ones built in our complex of 85 townhomes. Only in the last couple of years have I noticed that the trees planted in front are palm trees. What? Palm trees in a northern-hemisphere place? Weird.
They seem to be thriving, as the first homes were built in about 1995. The house pictured is also breaking the HOA regulations, as it has a non-standard door, but I haven’t heard any complaints about it. I like the stained-glass insert, because it classes up the house. And the neighborhood, too.
