And this has absolutely nothing to do with the anti-social network known as Twitter.  Real birds dropped by our yard this morning.

Over breakfast, these two Steller’s Jays visited and had a drink from the birdbath.

Next, our Red-shafted Flicker dropped in.  Neither species “twitters”, and both have calls that are very distinctive.

I’m so lucky to have seen both this morning.
