Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #235: Shadows & Reflections in Monochrome

I just love what I can do with the photos I take with my iPhone 13 Pro’s cameras.  It’s with me wherever I go, so I’m always ready to spot unexpected photo ops.  And post-production on my Mac is really easy, too.  Reflections and shadows have always been some of my favorite subjects, and I keep a special album of all my good shots.

On our trip back to Washington from Colorado, we stopped overnight in Missoula, Montana.  I spotted these coffee carafes sitting on a ledge, with the windows reflected in their shiny surfaces.

I am always watching for reflections of buildings in the glass facades of other buildings.  This one is in downtown Bellevue.

With all the new construction going on, I expect to find lots more of these!

Sitting in an auditorium listening to a lecture, I happened to look down, and saw what looked like abstract art in front of me.  I really liked the triangular shadows of the row of seats in the next row.

A marina always presents lots of opportunities to capture reflections.  This ramp over the calm water made a beautiful reflection.

Marred only by the stick in the water!  It makes its own little reflection, too.

Lastly, here’s a reflection in Silver Lake.  Clouds upside-down.

Here’s the Link to Patti’s original post for this week.  And Tina’s too!
