Today, July 4, 2025, marks America’s 249th birthday. On July 4, 1776, the thirteen colonies declared their independence from Britain, setting off a lengthy war, at the end of which they gained their independence from sometimes-brutal overlords across the Atlantic.
America’s Founders were a remarkable group of erudite, courageous, patriotic men, the likes of whom have not been seen since then. The Declaration of Independence rings down the centuries in its concise enumeration of their reasons for separation from the mother country. Every citizen should read it aloud every year.

Yes, the other party does seem to hate America, and want to transform it into a socialist dystopia. They have had some victories until now. But our great President Trump has begun to remove some of the negative transformations, returning many liberties to the American public. God Bless President Trump! We are so fortunate that Trump will be overseeing the 250th Anniversary, instead of his America-hating predecessor!
