It is well-known that Washington is a deep blue state, with almost the entirety of the western half of the state in the grip of Seattle Socialists. In the 2024 election, Washington was the only state to go farther Left, when everyone else elected fewer leftists to office. Our local conservatives begged for Scott Presler to visit our state and help us fight the communist takeover. So, he did. I went, just to see who would show up. The event was to get more signatures on the three Initiatives that are going before the Washington legislature. They are:

Reinstating parental rights in schools, so the State and Schools can’t transition students without parental notification. Requiring proof of citizenship in the voter registration process. And keeping biological men out of women’s sports.

For some reason, I neglected to consider that there might be “demonstrators” there, calling us nasty names and urging us NOT to sign the three citizen initiatives. But they were outside (fortunately on the other side of the street from the venue), and not as obnoxious as they could have been!

As would have been expected, the few demonstrators who appeared, were the usual suspects. Over-50, white, mostly female, with some hand-lettered and some obviously professionally printed signs. Yelling at us and calling us nasty names. They were just having a lefty temper-tantrum, and I just laughed at them.

Yeah, “protect voting rights” for their favorite illegal aliens (who can and do vote in Washington, since the state gives them drivers licenses, and all new drivers are automatically registered to vote).

The crowd was very enthusiastic, and Scott stayed after to have pictures taken with anyone who wanted one. I didn’t stay, since I didn’t want to wait another half hour to get a photo. In all, it was pretty successful, with the three initiatives getting lots of new signatures. However, we all know that the entire state government apparatus is DemocRat and farther left, so we have huge obstacles to overcome. They hate us, and would stop at nothing to get their way (even murder is acceptable to them, in their quest for absolute power).

I’m glad I went, and I hope all the conservatives in Western Washington do their best to get these initiatives passed, so we can counter some of the worst evil the Left tries to destroy us with.
