I am just getting used to black and white again, trying to see my color photos that way. There are some scenes that just cry out to be black and white. Like these clouds. I took this photo through the windshield of our car on the highway.
Here in the rainy Pacific Northwest, it’s often pretty gray outside, but there is still color, which you can see when you compare the color image to the black-and-white image. I think I actually like this one better!
This photo of the rocks at Deception Pass State Park looks great this way. It was a bright, sunny day with an intense blue sky.
