Thanksgiving is the quintessential American holiday. We remind ourselves of the benevolence of Almighty God in enabling us to live and thrive in what remains the Greatest Nation on God’s Green Earth. The United States of America is the first and only Nation on Earth that was founded on the Magnificent Principle that we were created Equal by our Creator, and that Liberty and Intelligent Piety are required, to maintain the blessings which we were given.
Over the decades since the Revolution that threw off the yoke of British tyranny, America became the most prosperous, the most powerful, and the most generous in the history of Humanity. No other nation in history has ever become as powerful as America without conquering its neighbors. We did conquer the many Indian tribes that populated our continent when we arrived, but they had been basically warring nomads who constantly fought each other, and enslaved or massacred those whom they fought.
Americans are not united by blood or territory, but by the American Exceptionalism that made us prosperous and generous. Why else would the rest of the world look to America first for help when natural disaster strikes?
On Thanksgiving we remember to consider the source of prosperity and plenty, and how many of us take the day to make sure others can celebrate too. American individual charity surpasses all others’. Not only do we give thanks, we give time, labor, and money to help others participate in the benefits of being American.

This year, there is also sorrow on Thanksgiving, due to the presence in our country of invaders who would tear it down. One of those invaders traveled from my state to our capital in Washington DC, and shot two young National Guard troops who were engaged in protecting citizens from crime. They were shot at point-blank range by a Muslim terrorist who was admitted by the previous Biden administration. He came in 2021 after the disastrous withdrawal that handed Afghanistan back to the brutal Taliban, and he overstayed his visa.
So today, two families are suffering while the doctors work to save their relatives, and the country suffers with them. We pray that the brave soldiers will live to return to their families, and that the invaders will be defeated and removed from America. And we also pray that the Americans who are united in their opposition to our President will be defeated before more of our military members are slaughtered. We see videos made by SITTING MEMBERS OF CONGRESS calling for the military to disobey orders! We pray for the Democrat insanity to stop.
Personally, Hubby and I will have a nice Thanksgiving meal at home, thankful that we have our health, and each other. Since my sister kicked me out of the family six years ago, it’s just the two of us, but we are happy.
We wish all of you a very pleasant Thanksgiving day and weekend.
GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸🇺🇸
